Beginning of July

Emmita spends time in this swing when I feed Damian often times. She is NOT a fan of being left alone. Emmita is either eating, interacting, cooing at someone, laughing with you, crying to ask for interaction, crying because of tummy issues, or sleeping. She truly likes to interact. She gets really upset if you stop looking at her haha. She likes to be talked to and smiles soooo big. What a joy is to have her with us.

Emmita first train ride as a new born.

My two boys playing at the park.

Did anyone think Damian might be jealous of having a sister? Well most of us did but seriously we couldn't have been more wrong (so far LOL) as soon as she came in the door he has been this protective, loving, caring brother for her. If anything he gets upset when we don't let him overwhelm her with kisses and hugs. Olive smiles at him most of the time, but sometimes he leans in her belly and well, that's not very comfortable LOL

The funniest thing is that when he is busy (in this case he was watching TV) and Olivia starts crying he says "oh no!" runs to find her "bowie" (pacifier) and sticks it in her mouth. She really doesn't take it but it is sweet to know he comes with this heart full of empathy and care. His baby blessing was TRULY spot on. He IS such a helper with his siblings (so far just his sister).

As you can see in the pictures, Olivia's feet are turned towards the inside. This is why she is going to wear casts starting July 10th.

Here in Topeka there is this little Discovery Center for the kids. It is an awesome place to just let Damian run around and play.

Jonathan's job sent us this beautiful flower arrangement =)

In Topeka starting 2 weeks before 4th of July the neighbors start throwing fireworks over and over, non-stop right outside our home. It just sounds like shootings and it is not the pretty ones you can watch, you just have to hear the annoying noises until "firework curfew" 10pm (supposedly). However, on the 4th the fireworks are so loud and continuous for hours and hours and hours especially in our neighborhood because of the proximity of the houses.
Little unknown fact is that I have PTSD from living in an abusive home growing up. So, I do not enjoy very much loud bullet like sounds (fireworks) repetitively and outside of my window. I can watch a show and what not but this was too much for me, plus I have a new born at home trying to sleep LOL SO our really good friends the Christensens let us stayed in their place on the 3rd and 4th of July. They have chickens, goats, bunnies, a cat, a dog, a garden, I LOVED IT! Here is Damian on their lawn mower.

I got a boppy pillow for 30 bucks on this facebook group I have called Lawrence LDS Swap and Sell. Olivia loves to chill on her boppy while I do laundry or feed Damian.

For her baby blessing gram and granddad Lau came over =)

Beautiful grandma she has. Olivia has a really strong neck (like Damian) she can almost sit up right on her own.

It was a beautiful blessing and she was wearing this super cute outfit that a friend of my mom crocheted! Can you believe that? I've never seen a prettiest little dress.

July 10th Olivia got her first set of casts. You know, I am grateful that there is a solution for her feet and that she will be able to walk and choose if she wants to be a dancer. That being said, it is sad not being able to squeeze her little legs and play with her toes. An entire drawer of footsie PJs will have to be discarded (even if we cut the feet the legs do not fit with the casts). She get's really frustrated that she cannot move her legs. The Doctor says she has a lot of strength in her legs and that she kicks more than any baby she has treated before. My poor baby girl =/ On a good note, the casts look super cute on her. With this onsie and the black stockings she looks like Beyonce LOL

So right now Jon is doing a program at work where all the new people work together (even from different departments) and so his group of friends did this gathering at one of their homes and we went. It was fun. Damian was eating marshmallows that he put in the fire. The funny thing is there was this chick in his group that had a little (more like an odd and big) crush on Jon. When Damian came out of the car Jon held his hand and there she went to the other side and held Damian's other hand and walked together like a pretty little family. Needless to say, Jon let go of his hand immediately because, well, of course, that was really weird. Then she grabbed Emmita and took pictures of herself with her over and over and insisted on feeding her. Her boyfriend was there but Jon got more attention than he did... pretty odd. Jon doesn't like to be cold to people but with her he had to, she would sit always by him or across him in the meetings and follow him like a puppy. I feel bad for Jon too, it is not fun to have a stalker. The sad thing is that she was good looking and she didn't have to be chasing a married man. Yuk!

In other things, I am excited to see what color Olivia's eyes turned out to be. She has this mystery color, one day blue, one day hazel, one day brown eyes.

A smile for you.

Damian is in the "sponge" stage. He picks up English like nothing else. He recognizes who to speak English and Spanish to. He grabs Peter and says he is gonna give him a bath or change his diaper because I do that with Emmita haha. Here is Damian giving Peter a bath.

Just to warm your heart =) My sleepy smiley angel.

VERY reluctantly he let me take a picture before going to church.

Daddy and Damian playing at the Discovery Center. Daddy made this message for me <3

Damian LOVES this thing. It sucks in fabric balls and throws them out from different tubes.
